From here you can get the software you need to participate in the OnLine
Workshops. (No MIDI/Audio sequencer packages - that stuff costs)
Each link will open a window with the owner's or a distributor's page. We're doing this so you don't have to leave the On The Edge site, but remember to close the relevant window once you've downloaded or things could get a bit messy on your screen. You'll need one MP3 player, one MP3 decoder and one MP3 encoder. Choose the most appropriate for you. Mac Users need only download two applications as SoundApp is both an MP3 player and decoder. The MacAmp player is there for those of you who may want to start acquiring an MP3 library and want all the frills. Real Player 
When you get to Real Networks Home Page, look carefully for the FREE versions of player. You'll need either G2 or versions 5.0 or 5.1. The 'plus' versions (e.g. G2+) are NOT free. Mac Users, as of writing G2 for the Mac is in Beta and is a bit dodgy so use v5.
